tony is so unconventional and amazing in so many ways. its incredible that he got to where he did training pretty much in his own way and doing his own thing. there are really good lessons to be learned about life from this guy. he proves that you can buck convention, find your own way, improvise and intuit and still reach a high level of skill in the real world.

It's not odd, considering most main card ufc fighters have to fight at around that time. May as well hone your body to performing based when you will actually be fighting. A lot of fighters do this.

It's not that unusual for fighters to train that late, especially if they have families. Not to mention main card fighters fight around that time.

Delusional, but I suppose that's what keeps him motivated. Also, the fight that Khabib's dad wanted was GSP not Tony.

I think the only way Tony could coax Khabib back from retirement is if he goes on another epic run, beating all of the LW top 5 and Islam Makhachev along the way. Not gonna happen at his age, sadly.
