-Points out UFC is more like a WWE production than an actual sport, a legitimate sport couldn’t get away with having a lesser team play for the championship over the deserving contender just because they would make more money.

- Is campaigning to expand the Ali Act to all combat sports, not just boxing.

Well he's not wrong, but they are still signing the contracts. If the UFC isnt threatened financially, nothing will change. And as long as they play ball with the current politics, they wont be taken off espn or abc anytime soon.

They have a monopoly on the sport though, fighters would need a union and threaten boycottts to make change.

He’s 100% right about having lower ranked fighters get title shots because the organization feels it will be more profitable

His wife left him after he was cut by the UFC. He would've never been able to even marry his wife if there wasn't a UFC. She wanted a UFC fighter and all that went along with it (especially the money). If Jon never got in the UFC he probably still would be married. Not to his beautiful ex-wife but some swamp sow from a trailer park eating fried oreos or something like that.

Well no shit. The UFC is a promotion, not a league. The whole point of the UFC is to make money, not to see who is the best. A handful of fighters understand this and have been able to cash in. Prize fighting 101 - the belt isn't necessarily the biggest prize.

Exactly, Dustin choosing Conor over a fight with Oliveira or Chandler is a prime example of that and I can't fault him at all for it.

Being a champ doesn't guarantee you becoming a millionaire in the slightest.

Did she tell him she's only marrying him because he was in the UFC?

they don't have a monopoly though. fitch himself fought in other promotions while still a contender. the fact is that fitch can't bring fans with him to other promotions, and that's part of why the money is the way it is. the fans don't just follow fighters.

Yes they do have a virtual monopoly, I believe around >95% of all MMA revenue generated in a year is from the UFC.

I'd like to hear the difference between how he was treated by the UFC, Bellator, and PFL

You have a source for that (and one that isn’t using 2020).

and again the conditions for a monopoly do not exist.
