I'm not sure you could call Fedor a confidence fighter but I suspect losing to Werdum did probably accelerate his losing interest in MMA.

Guys like Arlovski and Crocop were clearly confidence fighters, they would build up to a peak of form across multiple wins but when they lost it could take them awhile to build it back.

I actually think those kinds of fighters should follow Pride booking more, take a gimmie fight for less money after a loss.
