Holland should be utilizing Hapa elbows whenever his back is to the cage and his opponent is in on his legs.

Hapa elbows are still legal right?

Holland has a terrible base, get taken down even easier

Or he’d have finished Brunson and Vettori with them

Lol he couldn’t even finish a snack let alone those guys who dominated him.

He backs up against the cage and uses both arms to try and pry off the body locks as his only line of defense.... if he tries to spam elbows with one arm he’d get his legs sucked in quicker and planted on the mat.

We can agree to disagree, I think Hapa elbows would only compliment his game and make people think twice about constantly shooting on him.

It's too risky of a move seeing how if you're just a tiny bit off aim you might pull an Eddie Alvarez and get dq'd

If you have no takedown defense those wont work. Travis Browne was tall af and could spread his base out real far and stay up. Holland falls over on his own without even someone trying to take him down.

It worked for Travis once. He pretty much had a similar problem as Kevin and got taken down constantly...
