I doubt he'd be more of a threat than big-hitter Ngannou. (Unless Nobel laureate in Physics Dr. Dana certifies him as hitting even harder @ HW than a Ford Escort.)

Stipe , Rumble was never prime at HW, he couldn't even ko glass jaw arlovski. @LHW he had the KO power. So Stipe, by RNC....

A puncher like Rumble always has a good chance to get the KO early on, but more often than not Stipe would survive the early onslaught and Johnson would wilt and lose the fight.

He had elite TDD (watch the Davis and Bader fights), and an iron chin.

He'd eventually touch Stipe's questionable chin (dropped by JDS, Reem, & KO'd by Struve and DC) and it'd be lights out

It's hard to have prime rumble at HW where we haven't ever really seen him there to know, look at Prime Izzy and how he did moving up.

The only HW fight I've seen was Rumble, he couldn't finish a broken jawed Arlovski, I'd like to think Stipe would be able to decision him.

Rumble's power doesn't hold up at hw as we saw w hen he couldn't finish arlovski (whose chin is much more suspect than Stipe's) and he is not skilled enough to strike or grapple with stipe

Stipe would break him. Hes a monster at 205 but as far as HWs go I dont think he brings any more power than guys like Hunt and Reem do, and definitely not Ngannou.

The Bader fight? Bader went for a takedown *instantly* (similar to Askren Masvidal) which was stuffed and then proceeded to get violently knocked out. Not sure that's a good example.
