Maybe it's time for MW fighters not consider LHW as an easier division?

A lot of MW fighters try to fight in LHW for hope that they will get better there and in this division fights are easier.

Weidman 0-1 in LHW lost against Reyes
Jacare 0-1 in LHW lost against Jan
Rockhold 0-1 in LHW lost against Jan
Adesanya 0-1 in LHW lost against Jan
Thiago Santos 2-3 in LHW (but he achieved the most, fight for the title, won against Jan, close fight against JJ)

Everyone says LHW is weak but MWs promptly get beatdown when they move up. At the end of the day there is a massive difference of 20lbs between the weight classes. There is a reason why big guys kill themselves to cut weight and fight at MW. The monsters at LHW are just different.

Can you explain why LHW is able to fit in HW easier compared to other divisions?

That fight was a lose -lose situation Now Iggy loses his "0" which isnt an easy thing to do and he wasnt planning on sticking around the division anyhow. Should he have won then went back down that would have done nothing but make the division look weak and basically a joke out of it.

Lhw generally cut the most weight. So you wind up with more guys 230 or 240 at Hw who then happen to be more athletic as well as technically better than many of the older , slower, less skilled schlubs

You forgot Cannonier

Top 5 MW and was beaten out of LHW by Jan, Glover and KOd by Reyes

Yoel also got KTFO by Feijao back in the day and his return to LHW will be against Rumble <21>

Prime Silva made it look easy

Agreed. He decimated forrest, irvin and bonnar. He gave dc one of his toughest fights at 45 off the couch on a days notice. You think gsp would ever fight a two division champ two weight classes higher than him on one days notice???

LHW might be the most dangerous division. Fighters have similar power to HW but very fast.

What about Mousasi, he has plenty of wins over LHWs and HWs:

Hunt, Babalu, OSP, Sokoudjou, Kyle, Latifi, O'Brien, Mizuno, Goodridge, Izumi

He beat these guys also: Hendo, Vitor, Santos, Lyoto

He beat K-1 HW champ Kyotaro under K-1 rules and also beat Musashi.

Against scrubs. Gtfo here . Best one was griffin and Jan is way better than he ever was

Hahaha are we seriously are pretending like Jan is some unstoppable monster now?

Embarassing. Maybe don't buy into the hype machine next time.

Did I say he was some unstoppable monster? Not at all. I said he is far better than those three, which he is. Maybe learn to read
