Whether it be an ethnic Russian or otherwise, something about the territory breeds cold blooded killers who are calculated and don't seem to fumble the way the others do. Panic is not in their nature. They carry an aura that others fear and at their best are unstoppable, unbreakable.

Fedor is teh GOAT, but Russia isn't GOAT fighting country. Truth is there is no GOAT fighting country, great fighters come from all over

It doesn’t matter where fighters are born the one true overall fact is that the best of the best train in the USA. We have the best camps and coaches. It’s indisputable, you may come from any corner of the globe but the vast majority of the top tier fighters hone their crafts on US soil.

also, there is no real case for Russia in particular to be known for Breeding the best in the world.... Russia pales in comparison to Brazil for instance when it comes to MMA greats and it isn’t even close.

Fedor is the undisputed HW GOAT, Khabib is the undisputed LW GOAT. That's already goats in two weight classes for a country that has been severely underrepresented in MMA because their athletes go to other sports, as the sport popularises we will most likely see Russia owning GOAT status in most divisions.

You are correct about Fedor and Khabib, but the future GOATS remain to be seen. Guys in the convo are Silva (Brazil), Jones (USA), GSP (Canada), Aldo (Brazil), Nunes (Brazil, Mouse (USA), and such. Plus, as much as I dont like him, Usman from Nebraska/Nigeria could be joining those names soon.

You talk about Russian fighters and don't mention Oleg?

Adesanya could also be a couple fights away from the GOAT conversation (let's say he beats Jan and JBJ in his next fights), then Nigeria would have as many ATGs as Russia.

We're talking GOAT's here. Fedor is the undisputed HW GOAT. Khabib undisputed LW GOAT. Marty from Nebraska is great, but WW GOAT? You would have a hard time convincing the GSP fans.

Sorry to tell you, but combat sports are not even in the first 20 popular sports in Russia.

If the UFC would put some more effort into signing the best guys from Russia, you would have a whole lot more of them in the rankings. How is a guy like Magomed Ismailov not signed? Or if they would have stolen Vitaly Minakov and Valentin Moldavsky from Bellator, would be a nice addition. Vadim Nemkov might be the best LHW in the world right now (since Jon Jones moved up). To be honest, Bellator puts in more effort to getting talent from Russia. There are a lot of fighters out there worthy of a UFC fight that are not getting a chance.
