Reem seems immune to CTE

Having chin like his definetely helps him to save his brain from excessive amount of punches.
And I'm not saying this as a bad thing.
Like, his chin is weak and gives the brain early sign to shut the shit down on sight...

The guy has taken more tko/kos from HUGE heavyweights than anyone I can think of and seems fine. Should he take a break for health or is he ok?

Look at his ridiculous proportions and strange skull. Dudes a rare human, clearly built to fight lol, doubt he will ever suffer any brain trauma.

Heavyweights are less likely to be punch drunk

but still, the guy has been KTFO for like 20 years now

Yeh. Reem’s chin gives out almost instantly. He’s rarely in a fight where he suffers 3-5 rounds on continuous head trauma.

His brain may have sustained surprisingly little chronic damage for as many fights as he’s been in.

He might have been KOed a dozen time, but he usually drops after 1 to 3 heavy shots.

It's HW that have iron chin that doesn't go down after 10+ heavy shots per fight that are at risk of CTE. Because the overall damage they absorb, because of them NOT going down, is way more than fighters that get lights out.

Fighters that depends on their chin that goes to war to make fight exciting for fans, will suffer long term.

Best example is JDS, he probably absorb more damage from the two fights with Cain compared to Overeem overall career.

Not sure if this premise is valid. A lot of pro football players are suffering from CTE. A lot of them were jacked like Reem, remember Junior or maybe Hernandez?

some people are just lucky, the guy doesn't even slur either, in boxing George Foreman was also known for taking a beating and he is still sharp and speaks clearly while others were slurring bad like Joe Frazier and Larry holmes.

That’s a good point, but there are just some people that are much more resilient for some reason.

Jake Lamotta had one of the absolute best chins in boxing history.

He died of pneumonia at 95.

Or the symptoms of CTE that he may be experiencing are manifesting in a way not readily apparent to fans like us.
