As young men we all seek glory and each finds it to varying degree. But seeking glory is a young man's game and the curse of those who find it in a large degree is that they can't let it go. It is such a high that they can't even contemplate a life without it and they spend the rest of their lives trying to attain the heights they once climbed, despite having lost the ability to do so.

Conor can ride off into the sunset. He has lots of money, a wife who has been with him since the beginning, kids, and plenty of opportunities to give back. The biggest danger to him is that like an addict, he can't get the taste of glory out of his mouth, and he continues to seek it to self-destruction.

Oh what ever. He lost a fight. Big deal.
He will be back. Even his haters gotta admit he is exciting to watch.

Conor can fight Tony Ferguson next.

All great fighters are addicted to glory, that isn't the problem, the problem is you need to live the life outside of the cage and maintain the same hunger and drive that got you to the top when your at the top.

That's one thing you have to respect about floyd, even after all the money, all the fame, everybody that seen him train could not believe how he still continued to work harder than anybody else, he was famous amongst other fighters for doing just that, they all said he trained like he was still broke.

I'd wager it's gonna be Cocaine, cheap women, and booze....but I've been called a optimist before....

Should of fought Tony in the first place.A win and retirement would of kept his legacy

Yea if you are gonna be a fighter at the highest level you gotta live a certain lifestyle which Conor hasn’t been doing for 4 years. While he has been slacking the rest if the elite LW’s are working and surpassing him.
