When Conor used to talk crazy shit back then, many fighters started imitating him and it was cool.
Since Conor turned humble I kinda feel the overall atmosphere has improved, becoming more serene. Fighters now tend to hespect the hell out of one another, instead of cursing and insulting their opponent (which I think is more natural for a martial artist as we often see in the post-fight).

Now don't accuse me of being a nuthugger cause I ain't, used to be a fan of Conor's but lost some respect for him after the Khabib pressers. I'm quite neutral to him know, but I see this pattern where McGregor's behavior does have an influence on other fighter's behaviour, especially fighters that don't have a huge personality and need to borrow one (Fighter Kevin Lee come to mind).

Khabib said it, this sport is about respect. U respect, u ll be respected.

U talk shit, u ll get eagled.
