because they have written his opponent off to such an extent it may have influenced His camp.

People like Helwani or Stephan A. Smith were doing it blatantly writting off one party openly. McGregor could have kinda got used to that environment for the whole week. If you keep hearing people doubting your opponent for 2 weeks straight it sticks with you.

There was talk about Khabib 2, Nate 3, Manny Pac, etc etc. This was the questions he was getting they even stopped talking about the fight itself. Sherdog was also suffering from the same syndrome.

I remember even making a thread about this days before the fight - You just can't write off a dengerous guy like Dustin. He can end anyone in the division if they commit a slight mistake his at that level. He has power in his hands, can grapple and go for 5 rounds

So the Media are the ones who kept calf kicks a secret from connor? they kept him on a yacht and in bars punching old dudes and allegedly assaulting women? Money makes you weak, kills your hunger and drive to win to be the best.... he got soft... to quote bane "Victory has defeated you" <puh-lease75>

That’s the burden of being the favorite, you are expected to win

I don’t know. He probably thought one of the several clean powerful shots he landed in the first would do the job. They didn’t.

Kavanagh is to blame, the useless freeloading cheerleader

Conor lost cause he has a weak chin. He wishes he had khabibs iron dagestani proto human brick skull.

If anyone wants to shoulder a little blame besides the man himself, its his shitty team. They are a load of bollocks that he should have left years ago.
No top fighters there. Hes the only one and he is their pay check. They are yes men and shite trainers.
Never can see / or at least openly admit any flaws in conor even though he obviously has many

That's a stupid assessment to make. Fight pundits have been making fight predictions on every big fight in history. By your logic, the media is responsible for who wins and loses in those fights, not the fighters. Your logic also don't account for fights where the favorites go on to win as predicted.

At the end of the day, two men walked into the Octagon, and the better man walked out winner. Even Conor admitted that Dustin was the better man.

You are being a bigger sore loser than your idol now.

This post includes enough BS to chock a medium size town.

The media is too powerful!

Fight the power!

It’s Conor’s fault for losing and Dustins fault for winning. No one else is responsible for the outcome other than the 2 fighting.

Ehm .. what?

Shouldn't Conor take responsibility for his own loss?

Doubtful that this is the case. Dustin is actually that good, and Conor looked really good as well. What’s the bigger leap in logic? That Conor only listens to the media or that Dustin is the best lightweight right now bar Khabib? Conor is not first person to be debilitated via leg kicks, or calf kicks even. The game has evolved, both fighters have evolved, but one has been fighting the best lightweights on his way to a title; the other took too long trying to get a rematch with Khabib. Those shoulder strikes looked dope though

Do not know if this is sarcasm. If he wrote off Dustin and forgot that leg kicks exist it is his own fault. Nobody forces you to watch TV or other media. This is all on Conor and his team. And good on Poirier
