It's a nerve thing. It's happened in some other fights too (Cejudo, and O'Malley). I've heard it called a "foot drop". They really can't control thier foot for a few minutes. Specifically they cant lift their toes when they pick their foot up. Think of your foot falling asleep.

If they can fight through it they'll be fine pretty soon, but that's easier said than done when you really can't walk well.

How do you call a guy who a Doctor called the fight on him soft? That's basically the opposite, he was and wanted to continue to fight through it and told the doctor "it better be broken" if the doctor stops the fight. He had legit nerve damage to his lower leg that made it near impossible to stand and wanted to continue fighting. Dosen't sound very soft to me.
