Media Justin and Dustin going at it on Twitter

Even when Dustin talks smack he still somehow loops round to being nice.
Yeah he seems like a super nice guy. MJ musta said some nasty shit to Poirier, as he damn near poked his eye out lmao

Great thread title @13Seconds :D

Also it could be that luck was on Gaetjhe's side somewhat if he actually won that fight since Khabib could have been mentally shook by his father's passing so he wasn't as driven as he could have been in training.

Also, Dustin making himself look super chill in that banter

What a great fight. 30 min until gym, going search for it to run it back.

History is often written by the Victor, and while Justin might be making solid points, in the end of the day Dustin knocked him the fuck out on his way to fighting Khabib.

Gaethje is getting the shot AFTER Dustin and with a far less impressive resume outside of Tony.

Dustin's right in the regard that he DID put in the work, he had to fight 4 former Champions in a row, whereas Gaethje had to get by James FUCKING Vick, Cowboy and Barboza. Damn near LAY UPS when you compare them to Eddie Alvarez and Max Holloway. Eddie Alvarez by the way planted Gaethje's face into the fucking floor with a Knee, so his Resume is STILL better than Gaethje's.

Gaethje is 100% right.

Poirier acted like he just won the real UFC LW Championship.

He didn't.

He won a fake belt that the UFC made up because they needed a title fight headlining a PPV.

Gaethje handled it perfectly. The belt he won was meaningless and he treated it as such.

Not sure why he is giving grief to Dustin over that when Tony is a better example of someone who thought they "made it". He even kept parading himself as the champ for a while after he was stripped of the interim title.

Sure, its meaningless in terms of being a paper champ. But the question is, does an interim belt entitle the fighter to any of the perks the real belt does, like ppv points ect..ect? Then as far as a finacial stand point, it isn't meaningless.
