Izzy skills are crazy, when he debuted on UFC we all jumped his hype train. But later he started to fight for points even if he got some knockouts... The fight with Silva was too cautious. The fight with Romero was a Joke from the entertainment point of view.

We just want aggressive fighters, fighters that take risk. But we can't deny his skills... The guy is just that good.

Lets pray for Khamzat, if what he promises turn into reallity, he is the champion we all deserve!
 
He does what he needs to do to win while taking the least damage as possible. Who the fuck wants brain damage when they don’t have to fight that style? It’s not pretty at times but he looks kinda unbeatable right now. His reach and speed advantage is too much.
 
It's the same people who hate Volkanovski for fighting smart. Sorry your champions aren't trying to run in head first to get KO'd.

You have to respect your opponent, you can't just go out there hunting the finish.

Nah. I wouldn't call him too cautious. He fights whoever, and always talks about the toughest guys, even if he is the champ, and could try to get the easy fight like every other champ does.

Anderson and Romero are two of the best finishers in MW history. If he wasn't concerned/cautious in those fights, they would most probably knock him out.
We all love IZZYS style and strategy. He has a lot of dominating finishes.
 
Did no one see the brutal finish on Saturday?
Or the Whittaker fight?
Or the Gastelum fight? That should've been stopped but the ref let Gas make it out the 5th round.
Or the Brunson fight?

just bc he is not throwing leather at Colby’s pace does not mean he is fighting for points.

he is a precision fighter. Not a volume fighter.

he lays traps and put ppl away with efficiency of strikes.

He is a KO artist.

20 wins 15 Finishes and gustalem was lucky the ref didn’t stop it.

He spent 99% of the Costa fight spamming leg kicks, he spent the entire Romero fight running and occasionally landing leg kicks. I guess he's been training alot with Volkanovski. Fuck both of them.

Still so much salt. Look At the kos of Rob and Paulo . Literally throwing Haymaker combinations in the pocket . Against Costa and Whittaker two middleweights with pretty good power and resilience. What more do you possibly want strategy wise? Him to get hit ?

Round 2 destruction.. for both. ended in the pocket.. throwing combinations. .

It always baffles me how Adesanya is blamed for the Romero fight, while at the same time Romero was the less active fighter, didn't apply any pressure and didn't push the pace in any way. Yeah, we have several gifs of Romero's trademark explosions, which Izzy easily avoided, and that's literally all he did the whole fight (plus that one big punch that won him the first round).

I would never blame the winner of a tactical fight. Especially when the loser got a gift title shot after two losses and did jack shit to push the pace and get the win.

Look at the stats, or just rewatch the fights. Leg kicks galore, and literally sprinted away from Yoel multiple times.

He has a lot in his arsenal. The artistry is beautiful.
