Reach alone won't do it, and an opponent doesn't even need to match the reach, they'd just have to have the feints and footwork to draw out one of those lean back counters, time it and catch him while leaning back.

His lean back hook was WAAYYYY cleaner vs costa than Whitaker. The Whitaker was flat out FUGLY, regardless of what Izzy stans will say due to the outcome. After getting tagged with a clean jab Izzy dropped both of his hands, pulled his chin sky high, leaned back and connect with two hooks from the hip. It honestly looked like a street fight.
