We know they have beef and will fight in the near future. Adesanya clearly has an advantage on the feet but can Jones take down Adesanya?

I think Adesanya would beat Jones at this point.

The Jones of 2013 would destroy Izzy, but as of recent his offensive wrestling ability is really tailed off. And as good as Jones' striking is for MMA, Izzy is just head and shoulders a better striker.

It all depends on if Adesanya can keep it standing. And honestly Izzy has deceptive strength and underrated TDD.

I've never seen him get overpowered or outclassed in clinches. He was throwing Brunson around in clinches. If he keeps it standing he picks Jones apart on the feet.

Jones would have the game plan to take Adesanya down this would be his focus and control him against the cage then go for takedowns . Jones took Cormier down so I don't think Adesanya could avoid this

I don't think Jones game plan would be to have a kickboxing fight with Adesanya like everyone else does
