Time to put some respect on the mans name, no matter how much you hate him, he is one of the few elite fighters in the ufc. If you compare his top ranked wins to anyone else in the division, the only person who comes close to Colbys level of domination is Kamaru Usman and rightly so. Both Usman and Colby leagues ahead of anyone else in the division as they have proven already. The only fighters that beat them currently are each other imo.

Demian Maia:

Got a cut in first round but other than that, completely dominated Maia throughout and had no issues going to ground with him either, unlike Usman who chose to fight against the cage. By the end of third round, Maia was literally sitting in a pool of his own blood and could've been stopped. Even a round longer and guaranteed it would have been stopped.

RDA:

Taken down at will and controlled throughout. No success for RDA whatsoever in the entire 5 rounds. Watching him in his corner after the first round only and you can tell hes broken. Never have seen anyone else do that to RDA or Lawler. Usman dominated RDA as well but RDA at least had a bit of success on standup against Usman imo. No answer for Colbys pressure and wrestling.

Lawler:

Probably Colbys most impressive win to date. I have never seen a fighter dominate and embarass Lawler like that. Seeing Lawler in his corner after first round and he was absolutely broken, he knew he wasnt winning that fight. Colby took him down at will and outstruck on the feet as well. Attempted over 500 strikes in the fight. Was cranking Lawlers neck just for the heck of it in early rounds, just mental destruction.

Woodley:

Similar to Usman and Burns fights but Colby was the only one to finish Woodley. Woodley had no success whatsoever when he was apparently motivated the most in his own words. Colby ended up breaking Woodleys ribs just by manhandling him on the ground. Threw and landed more strikes than both Usman and Burns, finished Woodley, and also outstruck him on the stand up. Beautiful clinch elbows as well, new addition to his game.

I still remember Colby crying and running out of the arena when Usman beat him. You have to count his ability to run and cry better than the all of them as well. It takes a unique man to run out of the arena like a big toddler after getting humbled and running his big mouth.

Although I respect Colby for getting his money though with his shtick

the lawler/woodley fights were incredibly impressive. maia was fucking him up that first round though.

Somehow I think Woodley beat Lawler better than Colby did

Also lol @ the average ages of the 4 guys you posted. Not one in their primes.

RDA won, at least one, possibly two rounds against Colby. He also took Colby down multiple times.

Usman, and even Chiesa, beat him worse.

Lawler is shot. Dude just got shut out and busted up by Magny.

Colby is a great fighter, but come on.

All past their primes and he couldn't finish any of them. Woodley had to TKO himself since pillow fists couldn't do the job. Maia was a week from turning 40.

Lmao you guys are ridiculous. Maia lost only to Woodley before fighting Colby and had hardly any damage from Woodley fight. Before woodley fight he was on a 7 fight win streak and thats how he got title shot, best run of his career.

RDA was fighting for interim title against Colby. Won every single fight at WW since moving up before running into Colby.

Lawler lost to RDA in a close fight and had a bs matchup with Askren in which he took no damage before facing Covington. He was still considered dangerous as ever. The guy you saw fighting Magny was out of prime Lawler, Colby broke him.

Woodley fights the same way every single fight, dont care about his so called prime. Wins stylistic matchups that are good for him and loses bad matchups. Colby was always a bad match up and it showed. People like to come up with every reason to discredit the guy lol if you enjoy martials arts for what is, you would respect a guy with Colbys level of skill, put some respect on the mans name.

People who hate on him take his act way too fucking seriously, the guy literally took pages out of Chael and McGregor's bad guy routine. Some people just wanna get mad about anything in 2020, thats obviously the case.

His style is impressive, he never gets tired and his mix of stand-up and wrestling/GNP is comparable to GSP. He'll beat you the fuck up the feet with high volume and his underrated forward bull rush kickboxing only to take you down and beat the fuck out of you on the ground for the rest of the round.

Usman has his hands full if he's gotta fight him again and he can't break his jaw with his mouth open again. I'd say he folds. Usman was down 3-1 going into round 5 with a guy who had a broken jaw.

The Chaos salt/hate is strong in this thread, lol you Filthy Animals.
