Does the UFC have any plans on buying another mma promotion?

UFC used to have a buying spree when it comes to other mma promotions,

They acquired WEC, PRIDE and Strikeforce.....

I wonder if they're interested in Bellator, KSW, ACA or M-1 Global...?

I don't think they can buy ONE though.

What other MMA promotions out there add anything to the UFC brand right now? The UFC already has 500+ fighters under contract so just purely acquiring talent isn't something they need to do. They put on average 1 event every week as is so its not like they have any room to promote any more events then they currently are doing. UFC in non pandemic times already holds events all over the world.

They could buy some international promotions who knows

Bellator has some fire talents in Lima, Pitbull Brothers, Chandler, Koreshkov, MVP and not to mention former UFC fighters now Bellator Champs Bader and Mousasi.

Are there any that are worth the value to buy them though?

Wec, Pride and Strikeforce actually had good talent on par with UFC. ACA, M-1, Rizin and KSW are all regional promotions like LFA. If they want someone from there, they just offer them a better contract.

All the talent from Bellator are UFC rejects that don't want to fight there anymore so no point.

You are 10 years too late, the times when UFC had to kill the competition are gone. They have no competition anymore. ONE is just smoke, no talent there outside of ex UFC guys like DJ and Alvarez

Dude guys like Pitbull, Lima, Chandler, Aung Sang, Mankowski, Bedorf, Lee, de Fries, Narkun and Morales are talents.

Probably not as stacked as the UFC, but they are a great addition as well.

Only MMA org worth anything to the UFC would be Bellator for the fight library and that is about it since the DAZN deals seems to be coming to an end.

UFC can have just about any fighter they truly want. So the allure to get talent out of promotion buyout means next to nothing to them today.

They buy promotions who could challenge them business wise. Right now Bellator, One, PFL and Rizin are far behind. With Conor, Khabib and Jorge, the UFC is just fine.

Of course they have "somebody". That Jiri dude from Rizin for example. They are not buying entire promotions just for a few fools that nobosy knows lol

They don't really need to. Dana would say in old interviews that the UFC's main goal was to become the NFL of MMA.

In 2006-2011 there was a lot of top talent and popular fighters outside of the UFC. Which is why the UFC went about acquiring Pride, WEC, Strikeforce, WFA. To get all the best fighters into the UFC.

I'm not sure why they'd buy any more.

They have so many fighters already. There are not that many fighters out there that they'd really want that they can't eventually get.
