Helwani asked Jorge about his first title defense if he wins against Usman. Nate was mentioned. Jesus! Could you imagine?
 
That would be terrible for the sport in so many ways. The UFC would probably make it happen as well, if they're unable to lure Mcgregor out of 'retirement'.
 
Well people are already talking about Conor being Masvidal’s first defense, despite Conor never beating a career WW. It will be sad to see either of Nate or Conor getting a title shot at 170.

They’ll give it to Conor, that’s their only play to make the most money from both guys. Whoever wins will be do major numbers for the fight following
 
Masvidal should fight top contenders first if he wins the belt. After beating a top contender or two, the UFC can throw out a big $$$ circus fight like Nate or Conor who have zero quality wins vs. a top contender WW. Masvidal and Edwards have a serious beef, that could be first up...
 
Don't think Man is going to win this fight , So we can all rest easy about this fight taking place again and the possibility of Nate as Champ .
 
I think Conor deserves the title shot if Street Juda wins. At least he deserves it more than Nate. Nate is a can...

Would be poetic justice. I say give Nate a top guy like Burns or Colby and if he can get a win then immediately enter him into the title discussion so we can get the Nate Diaz reign that we deserve.

Not at all from a sports point of view.

But hey, it's Dana's UFC. Who cares about Edward's win streak at WW, Colby's clear #1 status, Burn's deserved title shot etc... let's give a WW powerhouse like Nate or Conor the next title shot!

I dont know why Jorge did not mention Conor (Fake retirement) in his interview if he beats Usman rematch with WB makes sense but Nate No way
