What would be the equivalent of Gonzaga(BJJ champ) knocking out Crocop(kickboxing world champ/PRIDEOWGP champ)?
For me, Leben over Akiyama is up there. Akiyama's Judo is as good as it gets in MMA, but he got triangled. I don't know if if I can think of a fight where the world class BJJ guy, or at least high level one, got submitted by someone like Leben. I mean, Sonnen/Forrest over Shogun was crazy, but Shogun isn't necessarily world class in BJJ like Akiyama is in Judo.
But for me, all I can think of is, a fight prob not a lot of people remember, Leban over Akiyama. That was a good fight too. I wouldnt pick something like Saku over Renzo, etc, since Saku is very legit grappler himself, so it excludes a lot of fights I guess where a better grappler got submitted.
