Wonderboy is a low output counterstriker by nature. Two counterstrikers circling each other for 50 minutes ends up with boring fights. It was woodley and wonderboys fault equally

Maia did nothing but spam takedowns against a better wrestler. Usman and Covington handled him the exact same way. Not sure why that's anything significant. So did Rory and Shields for that matter.

Yes t-wood is a one trick poney.
All he does is backpedal to the cage so he could utilize his power to the utmost of it's potential. Also, the backpedalling helps defend against guys that suck at the takedown, while good wrestlers could take advantage of that as can be seen with his recent losses.
T-wood was never an elite. Just a power puncher with sub-par wrestling skills
