More quality fighters and fights right? Its all about the demographics.
Not bad. Super FW is over kill, they can deal with 10 lbs at that size. The 162 would be fun.

Conor could actually become a 5 division champion. Lol

No, it would fit. Its a replacement of the Flyweight division. There are tons of male talented fighters on earth who make 150 pounds.

Need to get further away from 5 lb increments in low weights.
145-155-165-175
There's minimal appeal in watching a guy fight who you couldn't pick out of a crowd bc he's not shoulder high.

Some weird gaps there man. The only right answer is:

125
135
145
155
165
175
185
205
HW no limit.

You would only have to add a single weight class and turn 170 into 175. And no need to water down 205 & HW more than they already are.

The 162 super lightweight is the only addition worthwhile in that list.

Some weird gaps there man.

They are logical. The average male is somewhere around Lightweight. So you gotta create the most division around that weightclass. The further off the center you go, the bigger margin between weightclasses you should make.

125
135
145
155
165
175
185
205
HW no limit.

You added an extra weightclass! There are supposed to be 8.

You would only have to add a single weight class and turn 170 into 175.

But 170 is quite historic. And why add another weightclass? We already are experiencing watered down weightclasses!

And no need to water down 205 & HW more than they already are.

I didnt water down, in fact you did. The current state of some weightclasses are already watered down. There are not that many big guys in the world so you gotta make bigger gaps to combine more fighters into 1 weightclass. The already watered down unnecessary Light Heavyweight and Middleweight divisions will be split up.

I understand you want more in the middle there because it has the most fighters but that's just horrible lol. Most of the guys in the middle would just fight in all those divisions lmao. I don't think you understand how or why weight classes work.

.

Ok, you didn't grow up wrestling, boxing or competing in anything that has weight classes, that's obvious. I have heard some doozies lol.

there need to be less divisions not more, so people don't hop around divisions trying to get two belts,

for men 145 and 155 should merge, 125 and 135 should merge

women should only have 125 and 145

it would be much more competitive,

if you are undersized? well tough luck

Im all for less divisions, thats fine. Eliminating Flyweight would be the first thing I would do. And I never created more divisions. I just changed the current divisions. If I had to stick to 8 divisions, this is what I would do.

So they become two divisions of 130 and 150 pounds? I disagree. Those guys at 135 are already very small far below average guys. I would rather see a merge to 140 and 160 pounds.

women should only have 125 and 145

Here same problem. 145 is way too big for women. 120 and 130 should be enough.

I just think Pride got the right idea

I want to see less divisions, and I want to see tournaments to decide champs

so there's less bias on who deserve a shot or not

@BisexualMMA

I like the consistent animal theme, but fish would work better.

265 - whale shark
205-264 - great white shark
185-204 - catfish
170-184 - gar
155-169 - pike
155 and below - minnow

For females:
below 120 - plankton
120-145 - angelfish

And we don't want to encourage obesity by having higher weights than that.

140 Featherweight
155 Lightweight
170 Welterweight
195 Cruiserweight
265- Heavyweight

Good? I think this is optimal if you could choose 5 weightclasses

Why make it so difficult? Why not just add 165, 175 and 195 instead of 170?
