Word on the street is Abel had staph, lyme disease, and a torn ACL but still took the fight even though Khabib missed weight.

1. How accomplished was Trujillo?

2. Is Trujillo a more accomplished wrestler than Gaethje?


I do know NCAA > NAIA > Juco but is being 4 times All American there better than Gaethjes 1 time all american?

Keep in mind Jones Juco ass beat DC D1 wrestling.

Getting in the weeds about guys wrestling credentials from college really doesn't matter

Gaethje is a different animal than Trujillo
 
IIRC this was the second Khabib fight I saw... Trujillo had this look on his face every time he’d get clinched up....

It doesnt matter how good you were in college when it comes to mma. A lot of times a state champion in high-school can be a bad mofo to build on to the other combative skills. Also most state champs go ahead and do well at college level anyways.

Diego use to straight man-handle the WW division in his day. Just a HS state champ.
 
I make fun of NCAA all the time, but what is this joke credential he's got?

Knowing if Khabib can just bodylock Garth and throw him around like he did Abel is important to know.

Abel tried to granby roll and scramble as good as anyone can against Khabib. That's seem to be Gay Cheese plan against Khabib too. Maybe an injured Khabib would have also ragdolled Garth?

Not accomplished at all. He won states once in north Carolina, one of the worst wrestling states in the country. NAIA wrestlers wouldn't start for d1 schools. Gaethje probably ails have been a 4x champ at naia
