When Tony Ferguson is pressuring Khabib in round 2, overwhelming him with volume of strikes against the cage, and Khabib desperately attempts a takedown, but is inevitably caught in a guillotine, will he tap?

I don't think so. I think he has too much pride.

Prepare to see an unconscious Khabib in April.

Should be a fun bump.

Personally I can't see Khabib tapping to anything that isn't a heel hook or kneebar, he really seems like a guy who would go out on his shield instead of admitting defeat and tapping

A darce is a very real treat, but TS is either a dumb fanboy or a troll.

I think Khabib will either go out or make Ferguson burn his arms out. Not seeing a tap on a choke. Only an ankle or knee locks intense pain could make him tap imo

After Tony pressures Khabib, thinking that he is overwhelming Khabib with a volume of strikes, Khabib will go for a telegraphed takedown to bait Tony into an ill-timed guillotine, knowing that Tony will burn himself out on one of the lowest finish rate subs in the history of the sport.
Tony, as have others before him, will burn himself out and spend the rest of the fight getting ground into the mat by Khabib... as Khabib always does after his opponents attempt guillotines.

Im going to listen to khabibs non biased coach and say that he hasnt ever tapped out. He smeshed cormier in every situation

I can't get past the part where he implies that Tony will have Khabib's back against the cage.

We'll see Tony give away every takedown in that fight. He won't even try to defend.

Khabib is a better and more experienced submission grappler than Tony is. Just wanted to let you know.

Ferguson's footwork is all over the place, he isn't pressuring Khabib against the cage at all.

I also don't understand why people somehow think Ferguson is a much better grappler than Poirier.

I thought it was well established that Khabib doesn't tap when being choked out because he enjoys climaxing in his cup

When is the last time Tony put someone in a guillotine ? If you want to submit khabib you have to be a specialist. Sorry but, not gonna happen.

Funny enough in 60 combined fights both have 8 sub wins and 1 sub loss.

you dont think tony is a much better grappler than dustin? they are both blackbelts, but tony is easily better on the mat. he has more sub wins in the ufc, threatens far more off his back and is much quicker/dangerous with scrambles. I mean khabib is the gold stanbdard of fighting on the mat right now at 155 in the ufc so I wont hold it too much against dustin that he was dominated there vs khabib, but everyone knew dustin didnt stand a chance there. WIth tony, i think most people feel like he could possibly pull something off on the ground and is much more of a threat there than dustin was.

I have a wierd feeling we wont get a decisive victory in that fight. It might be an early stoppage.

100% he will.

Since this can only happen in tony's dreams im sure hed prefer the submission win.
