smells like Lesnar/'Mir 1, where the ref was a life long friend of Mir's dad.

If it's deemed as a conflict it discourages ex-fighters to become judges. Circles are too small.

He should appeal
And they need to give him the victory.
The score in round 1 was a mistake, admit that

That’s bull shit. It was bull shit before we knew about this connection, now it’s even worse. Sure the ufc can treat him like a winner and move him up to fight a ranked guy, but that doesn’t put bread on the table today

thats the only reason you can give him round 1. clear bias.

lol how is that just a minor conflict of interest.. the guy had direct ties to his opponent's camp?

Yah that shouldn't be happening. I thought Giles took round 3 though

So this guy has trained bjj and didn’t give krause round one? Hmm

Hope they rematch

Full camp Krause obliterates him

People calling for former fighters to be judges can't whinne about this, this would be much more common if former fighters judged fights.

The Texas AC is a joke.

It's not hard to do a simple background check or to expect the judges to step aside on their own when there's such blatant issues with a particular fighter.

He doesn't bring in enough PPVs to complain. That's how things work.

<{vega}>
Fight should be overturned

I don't even care about James Krause, but him losing the first round is number 1 bullshit. It never will be perfect, but MMA judging becomes more and more ridiculous through the years.

James is correct on all counts

especially Judges being held accountable
