Not all fighters live up to their nickname... but some fighters definitely EARN it.

What examples come to mind for you?

Chan Sung Jung AKA Korean Zombie... on his WEC promotional debut, showed us against Leonard Garcia that he was indeed a Zombie, in a controversial decision where KZ was robbed. Jung would prove multiple times again in epic wars that he earned that nickname.

Wanderlei Silva AKA Axe Murderer... Very fitting name, especially in Pride. For newer fans, Wanderlei was one of the scariest men in MMA in his prime. Yes, Fedor was the undefeated HW, but Wanderlei axed down dudes left and right and literally brought fear to all those around him.

Fedor AKA The Last Emperor... 10 Years undefeated as a HW, not even being knocked down ONCE. Truly, the last of his kind: The Last Emperor.

Chuck Liddell AKA Iceman... Again, most newer dudes may not remember that in his prime, Chuck Liddell was the baddest mofo in our world. I dare say that Chuck in his prime is the equivalent of what Tyson was to boxing. Liddell Iced dudes left and right in cold blooded manner.

Georges RUSH St Pierre... Rushed for that takedown :p

Derrick Black Beast Lewis

"fighter" Kevin Lee
Carlos "The Natural Born Killer" Condit

Quinton RAMPAGE Jackson... Went on a road rampage and was chased by police...
