At 145, he was given Brimage as a build up/can crushing fight. After he beat Dustin, he was given Dennis Siver which is still a fucking joke til this day. After beating Siver, he was given a title shot. Aldo had a broken fucking rib and Dana lied about it to make Conor look good. He nearly loses to a off the couch Mendes. Quick KO against in Aldo. He didn't even expect it and fled the division.

Then of course the Diaz fight. He gets his ass handed to him by Cabo Nate. Comes back for the rematch and plays it safe. Eddie gets a fluke win over RDA and is fed to Conor. Eddie arguably lost every one of his fights before the RDA one and only had BS SDs.

Gets completely dominated by Khabib, and somehow he is back after beating an old shot Cerrone who is a perfect match up for Conor.

Somehow this guy is the most popular dude in the UFC but has a so so record for having so many fights hand picked.

He ain’t shit until he fights Fedor and Brock Lesnar at the same time in a ladder match.

Now say it without crying.

I disagree, other than the cowboy fight which was clearly a cherry picked fight, the other fights were tough fight on paper for conor.

I like how you just ignore the times he faced very good opponents on Mendes, Dustin, Holloway, Aldo, Khabib. It is like saying "a game is easy if you remove ignore all the difficult parts"

Interesting. I sometimes wonder how people miss by THIS much

He’s fought a whose who of the past 5 years at 145-55.

Sure he got elevated quicker because of his star power but that’s part of the game.

He’s an elite level fighter but he’s also beatable, he’s not quite the puzzle that Tony m(circa 2019) , Jones or Khabib are.

Now he wants to fight 155 pound guys at 170 too not have to cut weight and then get a 155 title shot out of it while the champion and everyone else in 155 has to kill themselves cutting weight.

Eddie is one the easiest fight Conor could have had in the UFC. A brawler with limited wrestling that relies on boxing only and gets dropped every fight. Not to mention he is smaller then Conor. That was one the most predictable fights ever imo.

Bruh Nate Diaz was clearly a cherry picked fight, that just didn't work out the way they were hoping.

Strength of opponents should never be used against Conor. He's fought very good fighters. Even his mid-tier opponents, Siver, Brimage, Brandao, were decent.

eddie was indeed an easier fight than RDA, but conor was supposed to face RDA, he didn't predict that he ll get injured ...

He's arguably one of the most popular athlete's in the entire world. But yes, by a million miles, the most popular in the UFC...not a single other fighter comes anywhere near.

Still makes it and easy fight though and he has seemed to get very favourable stylist match ups.

I'm not sure about that. At the start, the fans played the gimmick with him and he was good enough to win impressively. The UFC jumped on board and created a bullshit career to "create a star".

Conor is pretty good but it is rather uninteresting to watch it all unfold.

You're full of shit. Brimage was a hell of a win for a debit.

Maximo Blanco was a respected veteran and had a bit of hype when Brimage beat him. Jimy Hettes had a ton of hype too when Brimage beat him.

Brimage was 3-0 in the UFC with some really good wins. He was considered a dangerous fighter for someone making their debut.
