As if it's empty like LHW, begging for a contender (Conor) to appear. No, it's the most stacked division in the history of the sport right now. Not hating on Conor, but he did very little for his stock at LW. Gaethje, who Conor obviously dodged, is the rightful #1 contender by a country mile.

I wouldn't mind Conor dodging Gaethje if this truly was just a tune up and he signs up for a summer showdown with Gaethje, but I can't pretend like he actually defeated a top of the table (standings) opponent.
