I think many of the fighters are scared of getting humiliated or letting others down in front of millions of people not necessarily scared of getting physically hurt. Its one thing to go play back yard football knowing good chance you fight someone there in front of 10 or 20 people, but another to fight in front of practically the whole school at lunch or after school in the parking lot.
