quit spreading fake news. Respect to both fighters last night both came for a war and delivered, it was much better then the BMF fight lol.

Colby was soundly beaten and it was a justified stoppage in around that would have surely been a 10-8 had he managed to survive.
 
Probably a 10-8 5th for Usman, two knockdowns and a minute of top control ground and pound.

Yes fluke jaw break at the end of 3rd changed the dynamics of the fight.
 
Yep, split decision win for Usman, if Marc didn't stop it he would've had just keep getting beat up down there for the reminder of the round.
 
Yes, most likely.

But they could have at least let the man finish. He went out there and kept fighting after his jaw was broke.

colby fans really make it hard to like the guy, just take the loss in stride
 
Covington didn't complain about the stoppage because he thought he was going to win on the judge's scorecards. He just didn't want to have a finish on his record at the hands of Usman when he wasn't really finished by Usman.

There is also always the Hail Mary attitude of a high level fighter that maybe he could stop his opponent in the last moments of a fight he is losing on points. If Goddard hadn't waved off the match Colby may have been able to return to his feet and been given that long shot chance.

White and blue only saw differently the second round but to the pink referee usman only won the 3rd round??
 
He wasn't going to win, but the MMA world really needed Mario Yamasaki last night to "let him go out like a warrior."
