- Griffin (right straight) who was masquerading as a FW
- Aldo twice (both with leg kicks, one nearly from a body punch)
-MTB (right cross)
-Barao rematch (straight right)
-Cruz trilogy fight (left cross)

Yan dropped him 3 times alone. Right cross, right elbow and left high kick finish. Faber is 40 but it's still Insane. He's one of the toughest fighters ever

Yan is good but age is better. Age has never lost.

Actually I think you mentioned the reason when you pointed out Faber is 40. Fighters losing their chin as they get older is the normal process, and for a couple of reasons. The first is accumulated neurological damage (its not your chin that is strong, its your nervous system's ability to take the hit without shutting down). The second is slower reflexes, so that your neck muscles have less time to tighten when you see the punch coming (ie it becomes more of a sucker punch).

Knocking down a forty year old guy who's taken a lot of hits over the years (as you point out) isn't surprising.

When one chin gets cracked he's got another one as backup. He'll be fine
