He couldn't get a read on volk. Volk shut down Max's jabs with legkicks and the majority of Max's set ups come off his jab.

Max stays in the boxing range... Decent success but gets kicked and pot shotted...
Max stays in outside range... Gets kicked in the calves/legs and can't do shit other than repeat the previous two...
