Im seeing a whole lot of whys when it comes to Colby publicly stating his gimick is just that a gimick.

So this cringy ass, down syndrome looking, studdering, porn chick paying but not touching dude became this because he needed a character to save his job.

This Character he created is universally hated basically only second to Jones. So he makes the Character, saves his job long enough to make some noise with his mouth and wins. But now everyone knows who he is. Everyone want to see him get destroyed.

I dont believe hes admitting this is a shtick to get ready for a loss. I believe he thinks now that hes well known he can begin to make a turn around in his character and stop being hated.

He probably wants to be a champ that is admired. But thats going to take a very long time. People dont forget.

If he drops the gimmick entirely I’m about it. But he needs to commit. He can’t have his cake and eat it too. Either be your character, or be yourself. I’m a hardcore and don’t even have the energy to keep up with his multiple personalities right now

Colby found his storyline and is running with it. Obviously it's working because we're all talking about him.

Years ago Chael paved the way for promotion. The guy talked himself into a LHW title fight coming off a MW loss. Tito started it in a way but Tito was legitimately at the top of the division and deserved his matchups.

I think he created that persona to give himself more opportunities...he now has those opportunities...if he becomes champion, he no longer has to pretend...once you reach the top, you can pretty much act how you want...he just wanted the chance to get there...
