Does any think that Andy Ruiz would be a good UFC HW? I think even more than Fury or Joshua his hand speed and lower center of gravity could make him dangerous for a lot of heavyweights. He's 30 years old now if he were to get the rematch with Joshua win or lose train for about a year on takedown defense I think he could be a threat in the heavyweight division.

Andy Ruiz vs Justin "Big Tiddy" Willis for inaugural UFC Super HW belt

He would run over nearly everyone in the top 10 at HW only guys panic wrestling would stand a chance.

He is the right body type for the HW division, just needs to shed a few pounds and he will fit right in!

Like Hunto with no ground game...

one Lowkick and the fight is over. Ruiz will be shocked from the pain.

only one takedown or one clean low kick and the fight is over ...

10 minutes of takedown defense and Andy Ruiz toys with any top 10 hw.
But why would he take a paycut to compete with d-level athletes?

If he trains TDD for a year he would end up the best HW of all time

Hes very used to a boxing stance and boxing gloves. He is not used to kicks, especially low kicks would suck. Even k1 guys have trouble adapting to even do well standing due to different stances, distances, gloves and threat of takedown.

Even standing up its no guarantee he would be successful consistently. He could get wins in MMA but would likely lose often also, while getting paid less
