While yes they do lose a lot, the fact they have as much success as they still do is truly amazing. They're basically playing a fighting game with 10 hp while their opponents have 100.
Both of them have managed to stay competitive near the top level for over a decade despite having suffered brutal KO's since early on in their careers. They're usually older and slower than their opponents and have to have damn near perfect fights to pull off a win and still do fairly often. We all know for their health they should have retired a long time ago but to keep the confidence and activity level that they do is something to be respected. Same goes for all the other vets in similar spots in their careers.
