Watched both of their last 5 fights and it's clear as day that Colby doesn't stand a chance. It's gonna be like Chael vs Jones. Usman is just gonna overpower Colby early and get him in a position that's gonna demorilize him.

One of the things that makes Colby so good is his ability to throw strikes combined with takedowns to keep his opponents always guessing and to hide his takedown ability. That's literally his bread and butter and what makes him great. He fights fearless and keeps things unpredictable with his high pace and level changes combined with ok striking.

Problem is, Usman is a strong MF and there is no way that Colby wont get taken down by him at some point. Usman will be looking to take a leg of Colby the second he tries to get too wild in opening of the fight. Colby can't fight at that high pace against someone like Usman who can take him down if he gets off balance. The Way Usman just threw Woodley down lso easily....I just don't see Colby stopping that.

I feel like Colby knows this and will have to change his fighting style and I have no faith in him fighting in a different style vs Usman.

colby got outwrestle by a BJJ guy for 10 minutes, while usman has a 100 per cent takedown defense.

Colby will get wrestlefuck by Usman, I dont see usman loosing his title anytime soon ( just look at the top 10 WW ).

The only challenge for usman would be a khabib/Tony moving up or a whittaker moving down ( great wrestling defense ), dont think it will happen, so usman will be champ for a long long time.

All this Colby is guaranteed to lose just feels like Colby will surprise folks and find a way to win.

Usman says he has bad knees, I wonder if Colby will expose that.

I really don’t care who wins this fight honestly.

Colby will try and keep it standing and i'm sure is training his boxing. He showed a lot of improvement against Robbie. If he can keep it standing he has a very good chance. If Usman gets him to the ground I think Usman wins easily. I don't think Colby takes down Marty. I'm psyched for this fight. Also Max vs Volk. I love the card next week.
 
If you watched both of their last 5 fights then you watched A LOT of film...1 finish out of those 10 lol. I really don't remember Marty getting punched in the face all that much in any of his previous fights (I could be wrong but I'm not about to go watch 19 rounds of his boring style) I'm curious to see how he reacts after getting punched in the face because Colby will keep it standing for a while IMO
 
I'd like to see the points in the op backed up with some solid evidence - staredown and press conference argument analysis being the gold standard in predicting who will win, of course.

tyron rapper was fighting with an injured wrist vs usman. Hence he dint throw them hands nor had the power to defend TDs.

I believe Wonderboy is the only one who has a decent chance of beating him, if he manages to keep the distance.

Meek was able to hit Usman but couldn't stop the takedown. Nobody takes Usman down. Woodley D1 wrestling couldn't compete with Usman's grappling.

Is this one of those injuries that fighters come up with half a year later after having ptsd of the fight?

Did this get leaked or did Woodley just mention it? If he did thats just sad.
