Kunitskaya looks quite sucked-in / dehydrated. Am sure she'll fill out quite a bit by tomorrow.

I'd like to see Ladd get back on track. I feel she slipped on a banana peel in her last fight, not to take anything away from de Randamie. I still view her as a bright prospect.

and....Aspen Ladd has not yet appeared. Hmmm.

there is a certain degree of skill and subjectivity with using a beam-scale in that you call the weight when the pointer is, in your view, not pointing either up or down, but it is almost constantly moving slightly, and so there is an element of uncertainty on it.

random factoid : Most men's Underwear (obviously it varies according to material and thickness etc) generally weighs approx 50grams, which = 1/10th of a pound. (cos the commentators are talking about the difference some fighters shorts makes etc etc)

get some fookin digi scales ffs
they have to be calibrated and certified that they are absolutely accurate, PLUS they need 3 of them, and they all have to match perfectly : one for the fighters to check weight through the week, one in the pre-weigh-in area, and one in the actual official weigh-in area. It's simply no good if one is weighing 0.1lbs more, or less, than the other two.

Calvillo needs to move to 125 so JoJo can get her revenge

4.5lbs miss is really quite a lot. That's not even remotely close. I even saw Calvillo mouthing off in the face-off and I think if you've just missed weight by a huge amount, and your opponent has graciously *allowed you* to fight, then Calvillo should STFU and show a bit of humbleness etc.

Why don't they just use electronic scales instead of these 1957 models...

Calvillo drops in at #6

I've seen Reem go down enough... *sighs*

Props for 20+ years of career but mate... He's doing this for the pure love of fighting, he's got money enough. Probably most heavyweights combined... Hehe. ;)
