Well because most people just post GIFs made by other people or pictures of half naked women to get those ever so coveted (for some reason) likes which is really not very impressive nor does it take any skill.

Besides that though posting on a discussion form really isn't something that anyone would ever look at and think "damn, that guy's a bad mother fucker" lol.

Sherdog was a much better place before they decided "likes" was something we desperately needed.
