Rizvan Magomedov, manager of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, told how much the fighter earned for the fight against Dustin Porrier. Earlier, Khabib's father said that his son earned 3-3.5 times more for a fight with an American than for a duel with McGregor. Magomedov explained why this became possible.

Q. Is it really true Khabib for the fight with Poirier that really relied on such a huge guaranteed fee of 6 million?

A. 6 million is an understated figure. He got a lot more. I think when Abdulmanap talked about 3-3.5 times, he had in mind the whole amount - including deductions from the sold PPV [paid broadcasts].

Q. Khabib for the battle with Poirier in total earned more than for the fight with McGregor?

A. A lot more. Today, Khabib is a very big name. We don't need McGregor or anyone else to get a big fee. And you do not need to do any high-profile actions in order to attract attention to yourself. Today, Khabib is a man of world renown. Accordingly, his fees are worthy.

Magomedov also estimated the monetary losses of his client’s team due to the incident after the battle with Conor.

Q. Khabib announced the amount of a million dollars, but he was fined $500,000. Why?

A. He personally for $500,000, but the guys were also fined, plus there were expenses for lawyers. It turned out in the end about $750-800,000.

Conor has been great for the UFC in totally weird and unexpected ways. The beating he took from Khabib made Khabib an incredibly rich superstar. Not just from the fights but from sponsorships, endorsements and political funding from Putin, agricultural projects and his own MMA and Judo gyms. He may even have more money than Conor at this point or will soon.

Conor's losses created a very successful bmf belt card, and a star in Diaz and in turn a star in Masdival.

If Conor fights Masdival and loses Masdival might be the biggest star the UFC has ever seen.
