Fighters train year after year at the highest level.
Still there are guys behind computers that have never fought in a cage or in a ring that call them bums, cans, finished etc.

I can't take MMA journalists opinions seriously either, except if they are fighters themselves.
We joke about actual or former MMA fighters behind desks or commentating but they're legit.
Allright, I said what I had to say. Cheers guys and fuck you and your stupid incoming comments.

meh.
There's no rule that only those who ever fought would understand this game.

Fighters can be terrible reporters or commentators.
Someone who never fought can be great at it.

So I disagree with you.

I respect the opinion of guys who never fought (but trained) MMA.
Some fighters opinion are so wrong (due to bias or blindness), that makes me wonder if he is hiding what he knows or if he legit thinks that way...

But yeah... I wouldn't call any fighter bums.

What word would you use to describe fighters brought in to lose or who don't care if they lose and will look for the first opportunity to go down?

You have a bum wannabe fighter who never stepped a foot in a cage, ring or a real fight in your profile pic.

You lack credibility.

I hear/see them being called much worse
I wouldn't worry about it

This isn't exclusive to mma, any athlete is subject to ridicule.

I'm a fighter, I call myself a bum all the time. All kinds of bums in mma. Some more than others.

Like greg hardy, hes a fuckin bum.

I know, some fighters are terrible at commentating but they know what happens in there.
Somebody specialised in a sport must have at least practiced it (in a cage or not, amateur or less than that, I don't specifically meant fighters either).

Fighters have that right to call themselves or among themselves like that

Those guys are called Jobbers, for those of you that don't know.;)

Schaub is a bum & by all accounts which there is a lot of evidence he literally doesn't know much about MMA.

Can we change it to sherdogger?

Implying Sherdoggers are professional fighters? I don't think so.

Too big a word for MMA forums anyway. There's a reason people just type "can" instead of typing out tomato can.

I guess you could distinguish a "jobber" brought in fully intending to lose to being called a bum or a can who simply sucks. Or to be more generous, a fighter with a very limited skill set.
