Thats a separate issue, and yes of course I agree! Jones and Conor waaaay worse - they have legacy of infamy.

But why does nobody ever talk about the UFC 210 Weigh In Fixing?! DC should have been forced to vacate the title.
NYSAC admitted guilt and complicity in the Weigh-In Fixing by adopting new language in rules to never permit a towel grab by a fighter weighing-in....

NOBODY ignored it, dummy. It happened over 2 years ago and there were a bunch of threads about it. It's been discussed to death here, just like the eyepoke shit.

DC seems the type to not obviously break a rule but to push the envelope as far as possible. The towel trick wasn't specifically forbidden at the time he did it, probably because the commission never thought of the possibility — they did ban it almost immediately after though. The eyepokes are juuuust barely plausible as accidental, at least enough for his conscience's sake.

That is such a weak excuse. It probably wasn't forbidden because they didn't think anyone would be so brazen as to try something so plainly unfair, and they didn't think their own people would be so oblivious as to not make the fighter let go of the towel immediately.

You might as well say it's not specifically forbidden lean on someone's shoulder while you're weighing in, so it's "techincally" fine until they do something about it. But there's no question that's cheating, right?
