Little-known fact: Months before blowing Lennon away, the loony bird who pulled the trigger tried to kill himself, in Hawaii. He sat in a garage with the car running, taking a carbon monoxide bath into the great beyond. Would have worked, too: except a concerned neighbor noticed the smoke, & saved his life.

Ya try to do something nice for somebody... and a few months later, the world loses the voice of a generation. Butterfly effect can be a motherfucker sometimes.
