Ronda Can Return and Rule Again When Nunes and Holm Retire

After her last fight Dana said Holly should retire. Nunes said she only wanted to fight Holly before retiring (and maybe a rematch with Cyborg).

Somebody was commenting here recently about how WMMA has evolved so slowly in the last few years... if Ronda were to return, could she run roughshod over her entire division again?

Whose striking has evolved so significantly and quickly in the last few years it would scare Ronda from even thinking of returning?

Note: Ronda is only 32. (Faber just came out of retirement at 40.)

Like Rogan said, they had gotten ridiculously good. So what, Amanda lands a lucky combo and Holm a lucky kick, and all of a sudden. Ronda no longer has the most lethal hands in MMA? Did she stop getting trained by the GOAT Edmund?

She could come back now and take that belt.

I can't see her coming back. She wants to have a child soon and she seemed like she was having a blast in WWE.

That aside, I don't think she'd touch the title again even if she did come back under those conditions. Her pitiful striking skills have been exposed and she can't get her judo game going if you beat her on the feet.

Top 10 sure (she'd probably even get an honorary ranked number like Conor where she keeps it no matter how inactive she is), but the title picture? Only if Dana gets money signs in his eyes.

Honestly it's a strong possibility which is pathetic and shows why WMMA is a joke.

It's only a strong possibility in your head. She may beat a few contenders, but basically the blueprint for beating her is out there. Not to mention the idea that she could come back and somehow be her former self is also highly unlikely due to accumulated injury, long inactivity, age and last but not least her psychological issues following her back to back losses.

False. The ring rust would be ungodly and the sport will have evolved far past her judoka and Haymaker skills. It already has. Aspen Ladd would beat her. Probably knock her out cold. De Randamie would hurt her very very badly. Raquel might decision her. Aldana would decision her. Moras might lose to her. Pena would smash her.

She walks towards her opponents on a straight line, keeping her head stiff as can be and always try that judo throw followed by an armbar...

Maybe he can work around the whole set of flaws she packed, but then maybe Jones decides to be a decent human being as well.. Maybe Sherdog ceases to have troll kids all over.
