His run at LW on the way to the title was a murders row of him finishing Benson Henderson, being one of the first guys to solve Anthony Pettis during his absolute career peak, destroyed Nate Diaz, dominating cowboy in their first fight and finishing him in 60 seconds in the rematch.

The man then moves up 15 pounds to arguably the toughest division in the sport. Beats up former top 10 ranked opponent and well regarded Tarec Saffedeine, finishes Neil Magny in 2 minutes when Neil was ranked #7 in the division, absolutely dominates Robbie Lawler 2 fights off of being a champion, then finishes Kevin Lee.

RDA's been a UFC champion and top 5 in two of the toughest divisions in the sport. While being massively undersized at WW, he hasn't been finished or stopped...which speaks about his durability. When you look at his career, it's a very noble and well accomplished one.

Besides obvious HOF outliers like Bonnar, Guida, etc.. is RDA a respectable HOF pick?

His resume should get him in. He's defeated 3 former world champions.

Is he an elite WW these days? No.

Is he HOF worthy? Most definitely. He’s paid his dues. Dudes practically fought his entire career in the UFC and never taken an easy fight. Beat some top guys, held the strap, and defended it.

I'd say so. Hes been a champ and defended. Beat top guys before and after his title run. Did some at a weight class higher than he should be. Plus, hes a game fighter. Took the Edward's fight on 5 weeks notice. He should get in.

Even if it seems like he's slowing down,he may rack up 3 straight wins after this, who knows?

I really wonder how the conor fight would have gone.

This run here, interuppted only by Khabib (this only makes him like everyone else who has fought Khabib) is great.

RDA is easily a 1st ballot HOFer. Has a much better case then guys like Forrest and Bisping

He's got an argument for top 5 lw of all time and reached the top of 2 divisions. In biased but id say so

I think he's still top 5, people were just sleeping on how good Edwards actually is and are now looking for a way to rationalize the loss. RDA still beats guys like Lawler, Masdvidal, Ponzi etc all day long.

Also its on 5 weeks notice.

Sure. But let’s be real, the mma hall of fame is a joke lol.

I’ll always question his sudden rise to the top at LW too. Feels like it was more than just açaí berries and Jesus.

Bisping is in the HoF
There was a brief moment in time when people thought RDA was the GOAT LW
