I got prime Hughes. Even in their primes, him and Conor are both one dimensional. Conor ain't stopping Hughes from getting him down. It would have to go like the Aldo fight for Conor to win and those dont happen often.
 
If no one on earth can take that left hand then what chance does Matt Hughes have?

Distance is different with boxing gloves involved, technique is also slightly altered, not to mention he was fighting possible the GOAT defensive fighter of all time (also RIP Sweet Pea).

Khabib tired Conor out, and had no pop in his punches after 2 rounds...
 
Unless Conor hits that homerun slam on the first takedown hes going to get slammed down, ground and pounded or choked out.

Matt beats the living dog shit out of conor on the ground. The strength difference would literately be like a man vs a boy.
 
Hughes is too big. And he’s either equal to or greater than Chad Mendes at wrestling. Equal to Khabib in wrestling, but worse in grappling. It would look like the Mendes fight. Not the Khabib fight because Conor proved to be pretty good at nullifying ground and pound early on. Hughes likely wins a UD. But it’s still somewhat possible for him to win late by TKO— or for Conor to do better than expected and lose a SD.
