I don't think that this is justifiable given the fact that European fans have to stay up all night to watch these cards live.

What do you UK guys think about this?

Really infuriates me this. I basically have Virgin Media at about £70 per month purely because I get BT Sport, and I can record UFC events.

Even whilst free, since going into recovery from alcoholism I wouldn't stay up until 3am start to watch a main card.

Like fuck would I pay £19.99 to watch a card that finishes at 6am local time. It's an absolute disgrace.

I am an avid fan of the sport and I wont pay for it, so I cant imagine that casual fans will. This is so detrimental for the development of the fan base here.

I think it is about time you socialist pig-bangers got around to not being subsidized at our expense!

Gonna flop and lose customers

I don't wanna stream cards but they are kinda forcing my hand

Haha, good luck getting people to pay 20 quid for a 3am card..

Good luck with that..

I can only imagine that this is a dry run for a Conor fight they're planning because I can't see more than a couple of thousand people paying.

And in the US if PPV was $20, most UFC fans would be thrilled to buy it. This is what being spoiled looks like.

Yanks fail to realise how small a following the sport has in the UK. Switching to PPV, will kill interest..
Extremely counterproductive in the long term.

except in the US its on during prime time, in the UK the PPV starts at 3am duhh. Also the fact that we have to pay for the BT Sports package in the first place and now a PPV cost on top of that

I honestly would be surprised if they get 20 buys.

I'll just watch all the prelims on BT and then stream the main card, am I fuck paying

I don't think the UFC cares how BT sport distributes the event? I thought that the UFC sells the distribution rights to the provider. How the provider wished to turn that into something profitable is up to them. Is that not how it works?

This is a joke. I already pay for Bt Sport and as others have said there’s no way I’m paying for something I have to wait till 3am to use. They need to make the ppvs at a more reasonable time but then that cuts into their American market. This is just greed.

I usually wake up around 4-5am so I just watch the main events in bed on the iPad.
I will not be paying to watch the fights, the internet isn’t good enough there anyway to record tv or get pay per view on the tv. I can get pay per view on my ipad.
I already pay for bt sport and fight pass.
No one will pay
