He rag dolled Big Daddy wish he would have continued with MMA......

The greatest wrestler whoever fought in the UFC wasn't even a wrestler. Go figure, he was some Karate dude from Canada who wears headbands.

no, this is simply not true..

romero is the greatest wrestler to fight in the ufc, followed by henry cejudo.

Does wrestling evolve like MMA did/does? Like Demian Maia has better BJJ than Royce Gracie did at the time for MMA.. Would DC be a better wrestler than Schultz was?

Imagine Coleman vs Schultz? Dreamy match.

Interesting that we never really got to see a big "wrestler vs wrestler" fight in that era, the closest was arguably Kerr vs Fujita but the latter wasn't on the level of the former as a pure wrestler and won more on toughness/heart.

Khabib would destroy Mark Schultz

<GinJuice>

...no, he would not. This is why there are weight classes - so that little folk like Khabib don't have to wander across the lands of Mordor in order to find a new world in which they can contest their skills.

More than eras separate Maia and Royce in terms of competitive BJJ. Maia is/was one of the best of his era. It’s known that Royce wasn’t actually one of the more elite BJJ practitioners in his own family, let alone the BJJ world.

I’d have no basis to say freestyle wrestling has undergone any evolution from the Schultz Bros heyday...Wrestling is relatively unchanged over the decades and Mark Schultz was one of the best Americans to do it. Daniel while decorated never reached the heights Mark did in wrestling.

Coleman v Severn off the top of my head might count, depending on what you're looking for.

:eek::eek::eek:catcher instead of foxcatcher. Get it!? Because in the movie he’s portrayed as being gay with du point. (I’m drunk)

That was an off putting feature of an otherwise excellent movie. That late night wrestling “session” was not necessary. John du Pont was creepy enough without making it seem like he was pretty much raping Mark Schultz. Pretty fucked up artistic liberty to take for a true story. I understand why Schultz was pissed.

we got severn and coleman, ufc actually just put that on youtube a few days ago

Mark Schultz was a beast, he picked up 280lb Goodridge like it was nothing.

And he wasn't a roided muscle freak like Coleman or Kerr so he actually had STAMINA
