Good afternoon Fellow Sherbros, It's been a minute, but I figured I'd make my way back into my Monday Cliffs with non other than an Interview with The Gypsy King, Tyson Fury, he joins Ariel Helwani today to talk about Wilder, The Heavyweight Trinity, his upcoming bout on June 15(?), how he handles depression, and his thought about MMA.

As always Gifs down below, and will upload the Video as follows.

Cliffs:

-Says he wasn't surprised with Wilder's victory, goes on to say standing in front of Wilder is a sure way to get Knock Out.
-Says styles make fights, and that his stock doesn't rise persae after Wilder's victory over Breazelle. Goes on to say that Breazelle's style might not work against someone like Deontay Wilder
-Says he didn't buy the fact that Wilder wanted to kill Wilder, says he's a good man, and most likely said that to Hype himself up.
-Says they were close to a rematch, both him and Wilder had contracts, and that they could have fought in May, but ESPN made him an offer he couldn't refuse(Mulit fight deal)
-Says the Rematch will happen, but not until in March or April of Next Year. Will fight in between after his up and coming fight.

-Says he's not worried about getting "sidelined" by the booking of Joshua vs Wilder, says they have to go through him either way to be the best.
-Says he's focused on June 15th, and isn't entertaining which fight is the more interesting match up between Wilder or Joshua.
-Says he doesn't listen to "Sheep" in regards to the Odds, and won't pay attention to the Odds, says it only takes "One punch" in this division, and his opponent could easily come from beneath him and take everything.(Smart man)
-Says sometimes you have to wait for the big fights in Boxing, but they do have happen, and when they do, enjoy them.
-Says he's a fan MMA, prefers the Striking, not really a fan of the ground work(Lol)
-Believes Conor McGregor transcended the game of MMA, "Set the game on Fire", goes on to say "It's not what troubles we have, it's how we overcome these troubles and learn from them" in regards to Conor's recent transgressions.(Respect)
-Says he's a fan of Darren Till as well, and his attitude towards the Game, says he's been unlucky, but he can bounce back

-Says Mental Illness doesn't go away, you can only maintain it.
-Says weight is unimportant, especially when it comes to the Heavyweight Division, and looks to be 265 come Fight Night.
-Denies Francis Ngannou's challenge to fight him in Boxing, says he can't beat him in MMA, neither could Ngannou in Boxing. It may be contact, but it's still a different sport entirely.

Ariel and Fury cap it off singing a Classic lol.

Nice interview, some interesting stuff here, especially hearing that the rematch was close to being singed.

Thanks for reading.

Man Ngannou we get absolutely wrecked in a boxing match against Fury lol.

Fury would KO Ngannou the same way Floyd finished Conor

It'd be a wake up call for a lot of people to see the speed difference between a 6 foot 8 255 pounds boxing HW and a 6 foot 5 265 pound MMA HW

Honestly hard to say that Ngannou would have more power than Fury with the heavier gloves on. Fury hits hard when he sits down on his shots and Francis is often off balance when he throws

Most likely. Fury just fought frickin' Deontay Wilder. Ngannou doesn't seem like much of threat in comparison with boxing gloves on.

Isn't Ariel a jew?
Pretty sure Fury is the definition of a anti-semite
Ariel probably got cucked again lol

I actually think Ngannou could potentially do okay in HW boxing at fringe top 20ish level. I dont think he'd embarrass himself against guys like Browne or Molina, but Fury? Fury would make him look fucking ridiculous.

Lost all respect for him after the Wilder fight when he signed that 80 million deal with ESPN. Not about the money? Only wants to fight the best of the best? 2 words... TOM SCHWARZ. Sitting ringside this weekend for the Billy Joe Saunders setup fight in a fur coat beside Frank Warren like a good bottom dollar bitch. The man is full of it

What the hell is this lost all respect for him nonsense, fairweather fans losing respect at the drop of a hat.

He was all but done before the wilder fight, 400 pounds, depressed and inactive. He came back from all that and not just competed with the most dangerous HW in the world, he outclassed him and WON that fight. And when he was robbed he took it in stride and showed class again.

He deserves all the respect for the career he's had, even if he doesn't fight again at all.

so Fury would KO Ngannou by not actually KOing him

By gassing Ngannou out and unloading on him later. Punches from a 255lb man is a lot different than punches from a 155lb man. Ngannou would fall

Ngannou made Stipe look like Roy Jones Jr.

And Stipe is white.
