Flyweight division will no longer exist.
Women's Bantamweight
1. Amanda Nunes will be retired or on an extended break to start a family.
Women's Flyweight
1. Shallowest division in UFC. Shevchenko isn't going anywhere.
Women's Strawweight
1. I can't see anyone stopping Suarez's grappling.
Heavyweight
1. Daniel Cormier will be retired.
2. Jon Jones will finally move up in weight which would have nothing to do with Daniel retiring.
3. The division will just be another division where a fighter moved up in weight to win a belt.
Light Heavyweight
1. With Jon Jones moving to HW the division will be the most open division in the UFC.
2. Johnny Walker I feel will have grappling issues.
3. The UFC will try it's best to make Walker the champion.
4. I think with Jones moving up, the new Russian to the UFC will have the best chance at a division that is lacking.
Middleweight
1. I believe that Robert Whittaker is too good to lose within the next 18 months.
Welterweight
1. People don't see Elizeu coming and they won't til it's too late.
2. In the next 18 months I have Ben Askren winning the belt and then retiring right after because that is something Ben Askren would do.
3. What Ben will do will give Elizeu the chance to win the belt and he will.
Lightweight
1. My hopes for Gregor are sky's the limit.
2. I believe Khabib will not be undefeated within 18 months.
3. I am not sure who is going to beat Khabib.
4. I feel Khabib will take a loss very poorly and could retired shortly after.
Featherweight
1. Out of all my picks I believe Sherdog will disagree with this one the most.
2. What about Holloway? Ortega? Volkanovski? Magomedsharipov? Aldo? Moicano?
3. Yair has faced a higher level of fighters than Volkansovski and Magomedsharipov.
4. I don't believe Ortega has won a round in the UFC(besides against Holloway) until he won the fight.
5. Aldo will either be retired or will change his mind and instead just move up in weight.
6. Moicano is good but he may turn out to be a Barboza.
7. I don't know what will happen to Holloway in the next 18 months.
Bantamweight
1. Within the next 18 months it will only be Moraes or Cejudo.
