1. the jump added force (Pettis mass + acceleration) to the punch
2. his head was already turned to the right so the shot coming in from a slight left angle meant most of the force was absorbed by WBs brain

Anderson was fucking around and trying to get chris flustered and chris threw and caught Anderson.

Wonderboy was on and trying to get Pettis outta there being aggressive and got caught. Also, Pettis was setting his up with is game plan - leg kicks, pressure/crowding.

Just an experiment for those that think that was the same - hold pads and have someone throw a superman punch and you'll see how much force is behind that particular punch. It's the whole body being thrown in to that technique - particularly the way Pettis threw it (pushing off the fence and throwing it as a hook rather than a straight).
